Serving at Shepherd’s Table

For the fourth consecutive year, our Troop 1794 has returned to Shepherd’s Table in downtown Silver Spring to serve the community. Our scouts volunteered their time to help set up, clean up, prepare food, and serve meals to individuals experiencing food insecurity, homelessness, poverty, and housing instability.

This annual service opportunity is more than just volunteering – it is a meaningful way for our scouts to give back to the community, demonstrate compassion, and learn the importance of serving others. We are proud of our scouts for continuing this tradition of kindness, generosity, and community service.
